Individual Counseling

Individual Counseling

CAPS provides short-term individual counseling for currently enrolled Sacramento State students. Each session ranges from 30-50 minutes depending on the clinician’s schedule and the student’s needs. Sessions are often scheduled weekly but may also be scheduled less frequently. Since CAPS is designed to provide short-term therapy, counselors will assist students in finding a therapist in the community or on their insurance panel to provide long-term therapy if needed.
